The Office of the Vice President for Quality Assurance (OVPQA) organized a two-day workshop for the orientation and revision of the university’s Quality Management Systems Manuals.

The first day of the event was devoted for new work units in orienting and formulating procedures to produce their own QMS process manuals. Consequently, a re-orientation and review of the current manuals occurred in preparation for the possible deletion or updating of the selected offices’ processes.

OVPQA and the rest of top management decided to revise the QMS Manuals in light of the changing environment and the administration’s over the last four years, including the establishment of new offices and the addition/modification of processes. Additionally, the revision may result in the migration of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System to the ISO 21001 Educational Organization Management System, as the former’s structure is compatible with the latter.

The workshop was led by VP Dr. Marcelo C. Gutierrez Jr. and Director of Institutional Assessment and Accreditation Dr. Billy Festijo at the Dr. Telesforo Boquiren Convention Hall on Wednesday.
