Up to P4,000 in cash aid, to be distributed by DSWD by | Adnes Jay Estrada, Editor-in-Chief (OIC) The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will be distributing up to 4,000 pesos in financial assistance to โ€œstudents in crisisโ€ beginning this weekend. Social Welfare Secretary Erwin Tulfo announced on Tuesday that the government will be providing financial aids to students starting on August 20 and continuing in the next six Saturdays. His announcement was reiterated and explained further on Wednesday through his official Facebook page. ๐“๐‡๐ˆ๐๐†๐’ ๐˜๐Ž๐” ๐๐„๐„๐ƒ ๐“๐Ž ๐Š๐๐Ž๐– ๐–๐ก๐จ ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐ž๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ƒ๐’๐–๐ƒ ๐…๐ข๐ง๐š๐ง๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐€๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž? Tulfo, the following are qualified: โ€ข Breadwinner โ€ข Working student โ€ข Has no family/Living with relative โ€ข Child of a solo parent โ€ข Has parents with no source of living โ€ข Child of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) โ€ข Child of Persons With Disabilities (PWDs) โ€ข Child of HIV victims โ€ข Victim of Domestic Abuse โ€ข Victim of natural disasters He further elaborated that up to three children per household were allowed to apply. ๐–๐ก๐ข๐œ๐ก ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐š๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ฒ?
