NEWS | PSU-UCC pays tribute to outgoing University Chief Executive

The 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆-𝗨𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗮 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 (𝗣𝗦𝗨-𝗨𝗖𝗖) successfully staged a program for the campus visit of our incumbent PSU President, 𝗗𝗿. 𝗗𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥. 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗱, which was held at the Students’ Activity Center (SAC) building at 3 p.m. on 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮. The said event was attended by teaching and non-teaching personnel, faculties, different campus organizations, and students. It was held to honor Dr. Buted, the outgoing PSU President, who has driven the university to the peak of success. 𝗗𝗿. 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗟. 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻, the 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗲𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, expressed his delight that Dr. Buted visited the Urdaneta City Campus. He also conveyed his heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to the president for his accomplishments at the university. “𝙈𝙮 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙛𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙙𝙤𝙢 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙫𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙨 𝙪𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙪𝙢𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨. 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙛𝙧𝙪𝙞𝙩𝙛𝙪𝙡 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙨, 𝙬𝙚 𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙖𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 9 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙨,” the CED said. Audio-visual presentations and showcasing the talents of the students and faculties, including a poem written by one of the campus journalists, highlighted the tribute. Dr. Buted delivered his speech to the Urdaneta City Campus, saying he has been the president of nine campuses, but it has not been a perfect administration. In his speech, he outlined his plan for the campus before stepping down as the university president. “𝗜 𝗱𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀; 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗮𝘆 𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮 𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗸𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆𝗮, 𝗸𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗽𝗮 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝘂𝗿𝗼, 𝗸𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝗸𝗼 𝗮𝘆 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗶 𝗽𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝘆, 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 “𝗡𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀,”Dr. Buted said.
