Warmest greetings to all my beloved PSUnians as we joyfully celebrate the 47th Founding Anniversary of Pangasinan State University!
Today, we come together as one vibrant academic community to honor our shared journey, our collective achievements, and the enduring spirit that defines who we are.
Over the past years, we have witnessed a steady and purposeful rise—one that is anchored in our shared vision.Together, we have reached remarkable milestones: becoming the first state university in the country to be certified under ISO 21001:2018 for Educational Organization Management Systems, producing topnotchers across various disciplines, and securing 100% compliance for all undergraduate programs. Our continued recognition through prestigious awards such as the CHED ICONS and EQUATE, along with our growing presence in global rankings and networks, places PSU as a university of quality and distinction.
Further, with a significantly increasing budgetary support by the national government, cultivated by trust over the years, we have been able to invest in innovation, research, and infrastructure that benefit our students and stakeholders. The establishment of national research centers, including those under the DOST NICER and Technology Business Incubation programs, demonstrates our resolve to lead in knowledge creation and community development. Our designation as a Regional Hub for Global Citizenship and our active collaborations across ASEAN and beyond attest to our capacity of producing globally competent graduates.
Most notably, Pangasinan State University has made history as the first higher education institution in Asia to receive the Investors in People Platinum Award—an achievement that speaks of our people-centered leadership and culture of excellence.
These accomplishments are not the work of one, but of all—our faculty, staff, students, alumni, and partners—whose dedication continues to propel PSU forward.
As we mark our 47th year, let us continue to rise together, guided by integrity, innovation, and service, as we shape a University that is not only nationally distinguished, but globally ascending!
