Cadets from Pangasinan State University–Urdaneta City, Sta. Maria, and Asingan Campuses marked a significant milestone as they gathered for the Joint Closing Ceremony of the Advance and Basic ROTC and the Turnover of Corps and Staff held on May 30, 2026. The event celebrated the successful completion of military training by graduating cadets, recognized outstanding achievements, and formally installed a new set of student leaders who will continue to uphold the values of discipline, patriotism, and service.
The ceremony was attended by key university and military officials, including Dr. Reynante E. Mangsat, PSU NSTP Director and Guest of Honor and Speaker; Dr. Renato E. Salcedo, CESE, Campus Executive Director; Maj. Ryan Ronald D. Bello (FS) PA, Director of the 105th Community Defense Center; Maj. Virgilio F. Montero (Res) PA, ROTC Commandant; and Mr. Raymart E. Gomez, NSTP Focal Person. The successful conduct of the activity was further strengthened by the guidance and visionary leadership of Dr. Elbert M. Galas, University President, whose unwavering commitment to academic excellence, leadership development, and nation-building initiatives continues to advance the University’s ROTC and NSTP programs.
