URDANETA CITY, PANGASINAN — Pangasinan State University–Urdaneta City Campus conducted a virtual orientation on Patenting Technological Innovations and Research Outputs on April 15, 2026, equipping faculty and students with key knowledge on intellectual property and innovation protection. The program opened with inspiring remarks from Dr. Renato E. Salcedo, CESE, followed by an insightful discussion led by resource speaker Dr. Jeff G. Pereyras, Director for Innovation Support and a faculty member of the College of Technology at the Lingayen Campus.
Highlighting the value of safeguarding research and turning ideas into impactful innovations, the activity reinforced the University’s commitment to research excellence. Engr. Rex B. Basuel, Dean of the College of Engineering and Architecture, capped the event with closing remarks, encouraging participants to pursue innovation with purpose and protection.
