PSU, through the Office of the Vice President for Academics and Student Services and the Office of Students and Alumni Affairs, facilitated the distribution of scholarship benefits under the EDUCATE Program of the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) to fourteen (14) deserving students from the Electrical and Mechanical Engineering programs of PSU Urdaneta City Campus.
Each scholar received a total of ₱30,000.00 in scholarship benefits, providing meaningful support for their academic journey and easing the financial challenges of pursuing higher education.
The NGCP EDUCATE Program continues to serve as a testament to the strong partnership between PSU and the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP), anchored on a shared commitment to invest in human capital, particularly in developing future professionals in the engineering field.
PSU extends its sincerest gratitude to the NGCP for its unwavering support and for being a steadfast partner of the University in uplifting the lives of our students. Through initiatives like this, opportunities are created, dreams are nurtured, and future leaders are empowered.
With the continued guidance of the University President, Dr. Elbert M. Galas and the support of the Vice President for Academics and Student Services, Dr. Weenalei T. Fajardo, PSU remains committed to strengthening partnerships that create meaningful impact and open greater opportunities for every PSUnian.
The distribution process was facilitated by the OSAA Director, Ms. Marienuelle T. Aquino, the University Cashier, Ms. Arlene N. Padilla, OSAA Staff Ms. Ruth M. Cruz; and Dr. Edna Queriones, Dean of Students and Alumni Affairs of the Urdaneta Campus, ensuring an efficient and orderly release of benefits to all scholars.
