Pangasinan State University – Urdaneta Campus has once again proven its academic excellence after being recognized as the Top 3 Performing School nationwide in the April 2026 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) Licensure Examination among institutions with 30 or more examinees and at least an 85% passing rate.
The campus achieved an impressive 94.12% institutional passing rate, with 64 out of 68 examinees successfully passing the board examination. This remarkable performance highlights the university’s strong academic foundation and unwavering commitment to producing competent and future-ready electrical engineers.
The College of Engineering and Architecture celebrates this milestone under the leadership of Engr. Rex B. Basuel, Dean, with the support of Engr. Harry Alan P. Errasquin, Electrical Engineering Department Chair, and the EE faculty members.
PSU President Dr. Elbert Galas and CED Dr. Renato E. Salcedo, CESE, also extended their congratulations, recognizing the achievement as a reflection of the university’s dedication to excellence in engineering education.
