Information Technology (IT) Department’s Basic Computer Troubleshooting Phase II was conducted last January 24, 2020 at Camantiles National High School under the eTrain program component of the “Project 3xtensible: MalasakIT with a Heart.” More than 30 high school teachers attended the training.
On the day of the training, faculty members of the IT Department headed by its Chair, Mr. Michael E. Acosta, made a courtesy call to the Office of the School Principal, which was represented by Mrs. Ages Acosta, the School Head Teachers in behalf of Mrs. Hilda E. Lumague, the School Principal.
Mr. Paul Andrew V. Roa, a faculty member of the IT Department, lectured on Basic Computer Troubleshooting. He highlighted activities that can be conducted in taking care personal computers and laptops. A question and answer session followed after the lecture to allow the attendees pose their queries.
After the training was conducted, Mr. Michael Acosta presented an educational tool developed by the Department for teaching Phonics. This software can be used by English teachers in teaching their students on basic phonics. After his presentation, Mrs. Agnes Acosta expressed their acceptance on the educational tool and committed that their English teachers will extensively utilize it.
