Last November 27, 2025, at the AVR of Pangasinan State University – Urdaneta City, the ever-curious and enthusiastic Information Technology students of PSU Urdaneta together with students from the BS Mathematics gathered for an enriching AI-Linguistic and Cultural Exchange with our esteemed visitors from Vietnam.

The program opened with a warm and lively welcome that featured a spirited quartet performance, followed by a graceful Cariñosa number. In response, one of our Vietnamese guests showcased his vocal talent through karaoke. Encouraged by the students for another song, he invited our cheerful host, Ma’am Kathleen Esteves, for a heartfelt duet. In the middle of the performance, a sudden power interruption occurred but instead of halting the moment, the AVR glowed with the flashing lights of students’ phones, creating a magical atmosphere for an impromptu acapella.

The exchange continued with an engaging and informative presentation from one of the delegates, Mr. Nguyen, who demonstrated the real-time capabilities of Augmented Reality, shared effective strategies for prompting generative AI, and emphasized the importance of thinking critically not blindly trusting AI outputs. He also introduced various emerging technologies and tools useful for both students and faculty.

Truly, it was an inspiring experience one that opened the eyes of everyone present to the incredible potential, innovation, and real-world impact of these rapidly evolving technologies.
