Pangasinan State University–Urdaneta City Campus has further cemented its standing as a leading engineering institution after landing 4th place nationwide among top-performing schools in the February 2026 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination (MELE).

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that PSU–Urdaneta posted an 86.89% institutional passing rate, with 53 out of 61 examinees successfully passing the board exam—surpassing the benchmark for schools with at least 50 examinees and a minimum 80% passing efficiency.

The Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination was administered on February 11–13, 2026, across multiple testing centers nationwide, including the NCR, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Palawan, Rosales, Tacloban, and Zamboanga, as reported by the PRC.
